About Us

Located in Melbourne’s leafy Eastern Suburb of Kew, Cocoa Patisserie has established itself as one of Melbourne’s favourite destinations for cakes and all things sweet and savoury. Founded in 2005 Cocoa Patisserie was established with the simple aim of providing a delicious range of baked sweet and savoury treats using the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers to the locals of Kew. Cocoa opened to rave reviews and has not looked back. Since opening, we have sold over 20,000 Pleasure Domes and Hazelnut Pralines. Come in and order one and you will see why.
Over the past 16 years, their product range has grown and adapted to market trends and changing lifestyle patterns. They have a vast array of Gluten-free products, and their chefs are always happy to cater for any dietary requirement where possible. One of our fastest-growing ranges is our Take Home Meals range. All you need to do is heat and eat. Time friendly, nutritious, and delicious. 
Cocoa patisserie is super excited about their next project. They will be launching a new website that will also feature an online store where they will offer a delivery service. Keep an eye out for our online specials.

As The founder of Cocoa patisserie, Cameron McPherson developed this concept in 2004 and in 2005 the business was built from scratch. After 6 months of construction, their first customer was served in October 2005. Proudly, many of these customers are still loyal ones today.
Cameron started his hospitality journey in Adelaide in 1987 when he started studying Hotel Management which he completed, continuing to finish a Bachelor of Business. A traineeship at the Savoy Hotel in London followed by corporate jobs with ALH Group and Spotless services. With tertiary studies and work experience behind him, the time came to put his knowledge into practice. Cocoa Patisserie was born and according to Cameron, “The challenge is still as enjoyable today as it was from day one. The best part of my job is seeing our customers appreciate and embrace our amazing products and seeing the passion staff show when researching and developing new products. It is heart-warming also to see the special bond and connection that so many of these customers have with many of our staff!”
